Overall Evaluation

Asheville, North Carolina

April 13-17, 2003

Overall Comments

Given the dynamic nature of this subject, maintaining this course as an annual offering is highly recommended. Should an advanced course vs. intro course be offered.

Labeling - would be a useful new subject for a future PREP. It seems that most discussion throughout the week centered around those participants involved in Sect 18s. While this is important, a great deal of the course is based on labels. Maybe some good before and after examples would be fun and some weird samples would generate a lot of discussion.

Structure question period in some way to keep in line with our schedule. Possible forum at the end for Q&A.

The PREP program should provide some type of product from the class. The topic should be introduced at the time "homework" is assigned. A draft position established by day 2-3 and a final position reached on the last day. This would also help in both directing the class and keeping the class "on track".
