Worker Safety

A new course with focus on: the connection between risk assessment and worker protection in the field, activity-based REIs, cultural/language issues, review FY’02 state WPS compliance data, how WPS field activities impact worker safety, Ag Re-entry Task Force issues, fumigation exposure, connection of Certification & Training and WPS, continued national focus of WPS, examining equipment (field and PPE) to provide worker safety, and a look at Worker Safety from industry/worker advocates position. This may be a hybrid between a workshop and a traditional course.
